Emory University Conduct Council Interest Form 2023-2024

Emory University Conduct Council Interest Form 2023-2024

The University Conduct Council is comprised of faculty, staff, and students who review non-academic undergraduate misconduct for individual students, student groups, and student organizations. Students who have already met with an individual conduct administrator and decide not to accept responsibility will meet with the University Conduct Council for another hearing.

Requirements:
1. Full time faculty/staff employee of Emory University.

2. Commit to set aside 2 hours per month to dedicate to the University Conduct Council and complete the scheduling polls sent out by Conduct staff.
These polls help provide a diverse set of panelists to each hearing. The date, time, and panelists are selected by the Office of Student Conduct based on the survey results. Panelists selected must hold the 2-hour hearing time in their schedule and attend on time for the hearing. If there is no hearing, such as the student requests a reschedule or no longer wants a formal hearing, panelists will be given back their committed time-block.

3. Attend conduct education training sessions each semester hosted by the Office of Student Conduct. These sessions are commonly 2-3 hours and do not conflict with dates hearings are schedule to take place.

*PLEASE COMPLETE BY FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 8, 2023 AT 5PM*
